RON WYATT'S CHINA

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0_7Xoe0l2X8

My first gallery showing at the Calumet Gallery in New York.

This collection of more than thirty newly printed large-scale images by Ron Wyatt represents two bodies of work: photographs of the 2008 Beijing Olympic Games and images of China's cities, towns and people. Wyatt's Olympic photos include iconic images of athletes from many countries, including an almost gravity-defying image of USA gymnast (and Dancing with the Stars winner) Shawn Johnson. Wyatt's images from across China include breathtaking scenics and a diversity of natural and man-made landmarks, including photos from Tiananmen Square, the Terra Cotta Warriors at Xi'an, the 2010 World Expo in Shanghai and The Great Wall. But what truly stands out are his portraits of people. People at work and people at play, young children and the elderly going about life. Through his photographs, Ron Wyatt gives us a glimpse into the ever-changing landscape of modern China.
